There’s no denying that the future of Jude Bellingham is big news in the world of football these days, with Liverpool always mentioned.

That’s because they were often seen as the best team for him on paper, but their poor form overall this season has led to some doubts over a potential transfer, especially if they fail to qualify for the Champions League.

The 1-0 loss to Bournemouth at the weekend hasn’t helped Liverpool in that endeavour, and with Tottenham winning, a bigger gap has been created.

It’s not unsurmountable, by any means, but it is forcing them to think outside the box in case Jürgen Klopp cannot get them in Europe’s elite this season.

That could also affect the Jude Bellingham transfer, which Liverpool fans want so badly, as Cadena SER in Spain explain.

Part of that is the fee Borussia Dortmund as asking for, which is currently set at €150m, which has annoyed the player and somewhat shocked the teams interested in him.

Real Madrid seem to be the favourites now, and it’s claimed they have met with his entourage ‘face to face twice’.

They have made it clear that €150m would be too much, and that’s a message both Manchester City and Liverpool have also sent.

While Pep Guardiola’s side are looking at Mateo Kovacic, it’s stated Liverpool ‘are also looking at other players’.

Therefore, if something doesn’t change, Bellingham could be forced to spend another season at the Bundesliga club.
