Ben Brereton Díaz is set to join Sheffield United on loan. This, coupled with Yéremi Pino’s serious injury, has seen the Spanish club look for an attacker in January. The coach knows the Wolves man very well as he managed him when the pair were at Valencia.
AS state Marcelino loves the Portugal international, who meets the profile he’s looking for in this window. The deal is complicated because Benfica have to cut short his loan deal.

The former’s departure will lighten Villarreal’s wage bill, which would be needed to try to sign the Wolves owned attacker.
Although the deal isn’t easy to carry out, Villarreal are working on it.
