Chelsea’s Victor Moses has ‘strongly reappeared’ as a potential target for Inter Milan after spending last season on loan with the Italian side.
That’s according to Sky Italia, relayed by Passione Inter, who say that the three parties are trying to work out a deal after the idea of a loan was dismissed.
They explain that Inter had explored the idea of another loan since last night, but that is no longer ‘viable’ as there isn’t enough time to get it over the line.
So, those in charge of Inter have started to look at different ways to get it done, and their idea is to sign the Chelsea man the same way they secured Arturo Vidal.
That is what they want to now do with Moses, with it claimed that Inter had been pushing for him to sign an extension to his deal with Chelsea, which expires next summer, so they could get him on loan.
The hypothesis now is that they abandon that pursuit and instead agree to a ‘contractual termination’ with Chelsea which would then make him a free agent and permit him to sign with Inter after tonight’s deadline has passed.
The idea is there, and it’s stated that ‘Inter go on’, but they are ‘waiting for news’ from London on that front.
That would suggest it’s not yet clear if Chelsea are as open to the idea as they are, although given there’s no place for Moses and that’s been made pretty clear, it’s hard to see how they couldn’t come to some sort of agreement.
