Steven N’Zonzi’s performance for Sevilla against Leicester City wasn’t one of his better ones, but it still doesn’t distract from the French midfielder enjoying a brilliant season in Spain.

After a slow start following his Stoke City exit, N’Zonzi has gone about imposing himself and it’s no exaggeration to say he’s proven himself to be one of the best midfielders in La Liga.

The player’s form inevitably leads to transfer interest, with Chelsea and Juventus both repeatedly linked. Antonio Conte being keen would be no surprise and he’d obviously expect his new club to beat his old one in any transfer chase.

Spanish newspaper AS reports on Saturday that N’Zonzi has reached a pre-agreement with Juventus, but that again shouldn’t scare Chelsea off. Should Conte take his men to Premier League glory this year then Chelsea will be a very attractive option.
