Chelsea recorded a remarkable 4-0 win against Manchester United at Stamford Bridge yesterday.

Antonio Conte’s team were impressive right from the first minute, as it turned out to be a very difficult night for Jose Mourinho at his former club.

Chelsea’s goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois, has come under a lot of criticism this season, but made a few saves against Manchester United to keep an impressive clean sheet for his team.

The Belgian goalkeeper made an outstanding double save off Ander Herrera and Jesse Lingard, and also denied Marcos Rojo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic later in the match.

Shortly after the match, Courtois has been speaking to French media outlet SFR Sport (via GFFN), and was asked about his team’s impressive win.

The 24-year-old insists it was Chelsea’s best performance of the season, and also pointed out Conte’s decision to play three at the back worked really well for them.

He said: “This was the best game of the season so far for us. We played very well with 3 at the back.”

Chelsea are currently fourth in the Premier League table, and just one point behind Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool.
