Despite claiming things a bit over the past few years, Chelsea have remained one of the teams willing to buy a lot of young players and then loan them out.

This helps then turn a profit if they don’t make the first-team, or simply allows them to have strength in depth if they decide to keep them.

Still, it is a bit surprising to see Chelsea linked with players in France few have heard about before, like Amjhad Nazih.

The information comes from Objectif Gard in France, who claim the 20-year-old will be the third string at Nîmes Olympique next season if he stays.

That isn’t exactly what he wants, seeing as he has represented France at U17 and U18 level in the past, and could therefore look for a club elsewhere.

While Chelsea would not give him a starting spot, having Edouard Mendy and all, they are still keen on him.

The website explain the player has a good profile abroad, where Hull City and Chelsea, ‘seriously looked at him three weeks ago’ and are following him ‘closely’.

Something to keep an eye on, as he could be one for the future going forward.
