Chelsea are ‘ready unleash’ a transfer assault for Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic, with a potential auction on the cards for the Serbian.

That’s according to Il Bianconero, who say the striker’s impressive start to the season has got the Blues thinking about a move once again.

They explain that Juventus, who are second in the table at present, have their forward line to thank for being in that position and Vlahovic, who has ‘completely changed’ over the summer is one of the stars of the show.

He’s dragging the Old Lady forwards with his goals and earning admirers once again after a summer in which Juventus seriously considered selling him and replacing him with Chelsea’s Romelu Lukaku.

That never happened, with a potential swap deal never working out, and Vlahovic has since set new records, becoming the first player in Juventus history to score four goals in the first four games for two consecutive seasons.

That has obviously caught Chelsea’s attention, particularly as they continue to struggle up front, and need a real out and out striker to complement their squad.

Vlahovic could be that man and it’s claimed they are ‘ready to unleash’ a transfer assault to try and bring him to Stamford Bridge.

That could spark something of an auction, though, as Real Madrid are also keen, and Arsenal have been keeping an eye on the player as well.

The belief is that Vlahovic is very much a player firmly in the Blues’ sights and a name to keep an eye on moving forwards after their summer effort came to nothing.
