Back on Tuesday, we covered a story from Goal Brasil which sounded very certain about Thiago Silva’s future.
It was claimed that as the player has decided to leave Chelsea at the end of his contract this summer, he’s set to return to his former club Fluminense.
Now Brazil’s UOL shows up with their on story on this case, and they claim that Silva actually hasn’t made up his mind yet.
UOL are also sure that the centre-back is leaving Chelsea at the end of the season, but is still to choose his next destination.
It’s said that Silva is currently evaluating offers from MLS and Saudi Arabia besides the one from Fluminense.
According to UOL, Silva will speak to his family before making a decision, and it’s made very clear there’s no deal with the Rio de Janeiro side yet.
Silva turns 40 in September, so this move will be decisive for him to finish his career at Fluminense or not. It’s also safe to say the Brazilian club would be quite annoyed with him if he passes up on the opportunity after spending years flirting with the move.
