With Chelsea getting well known for being one of the clubs with a significant number of players loaned out every season, they undoubtedly need to work a lot on keeping good relationship with many sides around the world.

This is a different situation from Manchester City’s, for example, as they’re part of a group and have easier access to partners who are keen on making transfer deals.

That’s why Chelsea may be following that same direction, according to the latest reports from France.

Journalist Romain Molina now features a video where it’s claimed that the Blues are looking for an ‘affiliate’ club, and in their quest to find a partner, there’s a specific French side who’ve already been offered to them, which is Bordeaux.

“Chelsea are looking for affiliates, primarily in France. They have even been offered Bordeaux,” said Molina (via Web Girondins).

“It is not the only club that has been offered to them (…) Dijon has been approached by another English club.”

With Molina claiming several clubs have been offered to Chelsea, it seems the Blues will have some options on the table to choose their partners.

Those relationships could not only work for the satellite clubs to have players on loan, but also to feel closer to other European markets, allowing them to spot potential wonderkids more easily in the process.
