Despite reports today claiming Enzo Fernandez’s transfer to Chelsea has already collapsed, there’s still a little bit of hope coming from O Jogo.

As the outlet features a story claiming the player is set to stay out of the match against Arouca tonight, they say his transfer to the Stamford Bridge is still possible.

It’s claimed that the talks between Benfica and Chelsea continue, and this afternoon there’ll be a fresh meeting ‘which could be decisive’ for his move to London.

Once again, it’s said that the Eagles continue to demand €120m to be paid at once, and Chelsea tried to split that into several instalments.

With little time before the deadline, we had already seen the likes of RTP and A Bola saying the player is staying at Benfica, since there was no expectation that the clubs would find a deal for the transfer.

So it sounds like this final meeting is Chelsea’s last shot at the signing, and that makes us curious to see what the Blues will put on the table this time.
