Tiemoué Bakayoko is one of the AS Monaco players most linked with a summer transfer, which is quite some achievement. Over recent weeks Chelsea have been the club linked most, but L’Equipe suggest they may have had enough of how talks progressed.

In yet another transfer ‘special’ on Friday, L’Equipe say Chelsea have become ‘annoyed by the various intermediaries that slow negotiations’ for Bakayoko. So irritated are Chelsea, they’re starting the process with other possible recruits.

One of those is Lyon’s Corentin Tolisso, much linked with Juventus, and lesser linked with a whole group of other clubs. Chelsea are said to be ‘very interested’ in the midfielder, and L’Equipe say the possible transfer was ‘inevitably’ part of talks which they claim took place on Wednesday between Jean-Michel Aulas and Chelsea.

Aulas himself faces a change in the transfer tact, with Alexandre Lacazette now not being able to sign for Atletico Madrid in the summer window.

Tolisso has long been considered a likely exit and if Chelsea can put together a reasonable deal, Aulas may be satisfied with the quick business.
