Celtic star Kyogo Furuhashi has been a regular for Brendan Rodgers’ side since arriving at Celtic Park from Japanese side Vissel Kobe in 2021.

The striker was instrumental in Celtic’s domestic success last season, scoring 34 goals, and has already scored four goals from eight games this season. His fine displays for Rodgers’ side have clearly not gone unnoticed.

That’s according to Fichajes.net, who state Real Betis and AS Roma are in the picture to sign Celtic’s ‘key player’.

It’s further claimed these two clubs have a ‘golden opportunity’ to sign the 28-year-old in January and will compete against each other for the 28-year-old’s signature.

The Japan international’s deal at Celtic Park is until 2027 and the report states Rodgers’ side are expecting to receive around €15m to sanction his transfer.

Fichajes.net are of the belief a move to Spain or Italy could help the Celtic player add a ‘new dimension’ to his career as it will offer him an opportunity to showcase his talent in one of the top leagues in Europe.

They make no mention if Furuhashi is willing to join either Real Betis or Roma.
