The Mac Allister family is well known by the Argentine media. The father used to play for Boca Juniors, two sons currently belong to Argentinos Juniors, and the other is a Brighton & Hove Albion player.
Local outlet Secta Deportiva today managed an interview with Kevin Mac Allister, and part of the chat was obviously about his brother Alexis, who finally moved to the Seagulls in January.
With Coronavirus still to get strong in South America, they asked Kevin how his brother has been doing at Brighton, since English authorities started taking action way before the Argentine government.
“Alexis tries to take it easy. My mum just traveled to visit him, we prefer that she stays quarantined there with him. In that area there are not many infected. He must surely be playing playstation all day.”
Kevin was also asked about which of his brothers he’d have as a teammate, and since Alexis has been far away at Brighton, he’s picked the other one.
“If I have to choose a partner among my brothers, I choose Francis, who is currently sharing the squad. Alexis is a bit far away, I don’t think I will reach him anymore, ha.”
Argentine outlets who’ve been covering this interview regret the fact that the Premier League has been suspended right when Alexis Mac Allister was starting getting playing time for Brighton. He’s featured in only 10 minutes for the club so far.
