Goal’s blog ‘Oras Bolas’, managed by the Brazilian journalist Bruno Andrade, has an interesting story on AS Monaco today.
It’s claimed that the French side are already making plans for sales in the summer transfer window, and they would be preparing themselves to let at least two of their stars go. Among the players who could be leaving there are Fabinho, Tiemoué Bakayoko, Thomas Lemar, Bernardo Silva and Kylian Mbappé. All of them have reportedly received approaches in the past few weeks.
Concentrating on Fabinho, with him being Brazilian, it’s claimed Manchester City have already approached him.
It only encourages rumours regarding Fabinho and Manchester City, and the French press have recently explained Monaco have a ‘moral commitment’ to let him leave. Fabinho would be a brilliant addition for Pep Guardiola’s squad, and this is one of those potential transfers which simply make a lot of sense.
Fabinho could provide improvement and strength for Manchester City in more than one position and at 23 years of age he’d be a signing for the present and the future.
