Bournemouth’s pursuit of Inter Milan midfielder Robin Gosens is a rumour which is slowly gaining strength in the Italian media.

Today, it’s journalist Rudy Galetti who reports the ‘first contacts’ between the clubs for this transfer.

He claims that Bournemouth considers Gosens a ‘main target’, and ‘it cannot be excluded’ that they will soon place their opening bid for the signing.

It’s also highlighted that the Cherries are not alone in this race, since the likes of Union Berlin and Wolfsburg are also interested in the 29-year-old.

Bournemouth’s interest in Gosens was revealed by the Italian press a few months ago, and things seem to be heating up lately.

Calciomercato.it had already claimed this week that there are discussions going on for this transfer, especially because Inter Milan are keen on selling the player this summer.

The Nerazzurri are said to be requesting €15m for the sale, and Bournemouth are one of the clubs who would welcome a discount to get the transfer done.

It’s always highlight that the German clubs are very much interested in Gosens, so that’s something the Cherries must watch out for.
