AC Milan’s Jan-Carlo Simić has ended up in the sights of AFC Bournemouth and Fulham, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.

The 18-year-old joined the Serie A side from VfB Stuttgart in 2022 and was initially part of their youth team, before Stefano Pioli promoted him to the senior side last year.

Simić has scored a goal from six games for the Rossoneri this season, and has received interest from both Bournemouth and Fulham

The centre-back is being followed by the Premier League sides, ‘in particular’ from Marco Silva’s side and the Cherries.

It’s further claimed the two English clubs have carried out surveys in recent weeks to find out about the Serbia U19 international’s situation.

Bournemouth and Fulham interest has seen Milan act, to try and renew the defender’s deal. He has just over a year left on his contract and the Italian club have already contacted his camp for an extension.

Simić’s salary is much lower than other youngsters at Milan, and his intention is to stay at the San Siro. Therefore, TMW state it won’t be difficult for Milan to reach an agreement for a new deal and they add there could be news regarding his extension in the coming weeks.

If he were to sign an extension, Milan will then have to decide whether to include him in their plans next season or send the player out on loan in the summer.
