Over the past few months, the Italian media have stated Tottenham Hotspur are chasing Éderson, and this was backed up by Marca on March 25th. A day later, the same outlet stated Atlético Madrid are ready to battle with Newcastle United for the Atalanta star.

This is now echoed by Mundo Deportivo, when mentioning Barcelona’s interest in the 24-year-old.

The midfielder’s impressive performances for the Serie A side haven’t gone unnoticed as the list of clubs chasing him are long.

It’s claimed Barcelona have the Brazilian on their radar as they are keen on strengthening their midfield in the next window. Their sporting director, Deco, is handling several names and Éderson has been included in that list.

Along with the Catalan club, there are several teams ‘interested’ in the Brazilian, including Tottenham, Newcastle and Atlético. The report states Spurs, the Magpies and others will provide ‘competition’ to the Camp Nou side in the race to sign the player in the summer.

Éderson’s deal lasts until 2026 and the report says he’s currently valued at €30m. They also point out claims elsewhere have stated his asking price is set at €50m.

Mundo say his future is ‘up in the air’, and Éderson has already shown he’s ‘prepared to make a leap to a team with European aspirations’.
