According to Turkish newspaper Fotomac, Arsenal have informed Besiktas that they will consider the offer if the Turkish club make another loan approach for Mohamed Elneny.

Earlier this week we covered reports from Turkey that the Besiktas board and their manager Sergen Yalcin are pleased with the Egyptian’s performances, and would like to extend his stay in Istanbul for another season.

However, due to the Turkish side’s poor financial situation, Besiktas could only afford another loan and Fotomac today claim the club has contacted Arsenal and informed the London side about their intentions.

It’s reported the Gunners are open to loaning Elneny to Besiktas for another season, as Mikel Arteta doesn’t see the player in his plans for next season.

The 27 year old has also said on numerous occasions that he’s enjoying his time in Turkey and would like to stay at the club.

He’s been a key member of Sergen Yalcin’s team this season, making 27 appearances in all competitions.

Elneny’s contract with Arsenal will expire at the end of June 2022.
