It seems Arsenal forward Leandro Trossard won’t be playing for the Gunners until the international break.

That’s today said by the Belgian media, where Het Belang van Limburg (via Voetbal Nieuws) features an update on the player’s situation.

The outlet claims that according to the latest ‘medical bulletins’, Trossard will be sidelined by Arsenal ‘for another twelve days’.

The local press then believes the player will be fit for Belgium’s match against Sweden, which takes place on the 24th of March.

That’s considered to be a ‘boost’ for new manager Domenico Tedesco, since Trossard is considered to be the ‘main candidate’ to replace Eden Hazard in the starting team.

Trossard has a groin injury, and was subbed off in the first half of Arsenal’s clash against Bournemouth at the weekend.

In case the report’s preview is true, then the player should miss both games against Sporting CP in the Europa League, as well as the matches against Fulham and Crystal Palace in the Premier League.

Following the international break, Arsenal face Leeds on the 1st of April, and that’s when Trossard should be ready to return for the Gunners themselves.
