Arsenal fans are a demanding bunch, and they’ve probably got a decent reason behind this.
We know this mostly from our interaction with them on social media, and frustration from past transfer windows seems to be overflowing this summer, especially with their rivals making big moves so far.
Grant Xhaka’s arrival quenched their transfer thirst for a bit, but now fans are going all out demanding big signing to compete with the Manchester clubs and close neighbours Tottenham and Chelsea, including a certain Riyad Mahrez.
The Algerian winger had the season of his life with Leicester last year with 18 goals and 10 assists in 39 appearances, and considering N’Golo Kanté moved to Chelsea, there’s no reason why Mahrez couldn’t move to Arsenal.
Their voice has been so loud that it’s made its way all the way to Catalunya, where Sport have an article on Mahrez’s future, reported Barcelona interest and how badly Arsenal fans want him.
However, if you’ve been on the ball Monday morning and reading our articles, you’ll know that Mundo Deportivo have already made it clear the former Le Havre star isn’t an option for Barcelona.
Does this mean it’s a clear path for Arsenal? Not really, as there’s bound to be more clubs than just Barcelona also interested in him, but your voice has been heard Arsenal fans.
