When a manager wins the Premier League, the normal situation would be for him to have a secure place at his club, especially when he’s having the first chance to manage the team in the Champions League.

But the opposite has been happening to Antonio Conte, whose permanence at Chelsea has been the target of several rumours since the summer.

Recent reports from Italy have even been linking him to a job at AC Milan, something we was quizzed about today when speaking to his home country media.

Talking to Premium Sport, the boss said: “My future? It’s better to think about Chelsea, I have two years of contract and I want to live this incredible experience here, I’m learning another culture, another language and another football, and I want to give a chance to my family and my daughter to learn English. My present is very important.” (via Calcio Mercato)

Conte has been attracting big attention from the Italian press as Chelsea are facing Roma in the Champions League on Wednesday. And this coverage will only grow next week, when the Blues will be flying for a rematch at the Stadio Olimpico.

With the English media also helping, rumours around Conte are unlikely to go away soon.
