The agent of Pawel Cibicki has confirmed to the Swedish press his client has signed a four year contract with Leeds Untied, after pictures leaked of the player signing. The 23 year old had been linked with the Championship side since the weekend.

Speaking to Expression, Nochi Hamasor was quizzed about Cibicki’s move to Leeds United, and what he can bring to the team: “It’s a good choice and Leeds is a good project. I can confirm he is ready for Leeds and that the contract is four years. He’ll be a little bit like a saviour who will shoot them up. They believe in him.”

Over the past couple of days it became apparent Cibicki was on the verge of joining Leeds United. The player and Malmo’s sporting director Daniel Andersson informed the Swedish press on Wednesday he was in talks with the English club, and yesterday evening it was confirmed he’d become a Leeds United player.

It’s been claimed Cibicki has signed for a transfer fee in the region of £1.9m, and his agent has also revealed the youngster will be deployed in a central attacking role, and not as a winger.
