Happy Daniel Levy Day!

It’s August 31st and it’s Levy’s time to shine, but the Tottenham supremo has already been hard at work in preparation for the close of the window.

One of the deals Levy has been working on is Serge Aurier, with everything agreed pending a work permit for the PSG player. That finally came through on Wednesday, according to French reports, and Aurier is now free to join Tottenham.

Levy concluded the deal with PSG in a ‘large Parisien hotel’ before returning to England and crossing his fingers over the permit.

The transfer, and it’s now much likelier to Spurs than Stamford Bridge, can only be completed today.

Chelsea could make a last ditch offer on Thursday, but Tottenham have made it as hard as possible, with Levy already securing a deal with PSG
