Several outlets from the Italian media continue to confirm Edin Dzeko could be announced as a Chelsea player very soon.
Earlier today, it was CalcioMercato.it who brought the news saying the Blues’ ‘third deal’ with Roma could be on the way.
After completing the transfer of Antonio Rudiger, would Emerson Palmieri, who’s set to have his medical ‘in the coming hours’ after an agent sorted the deal out. Moving on from there Chelsea would now have agreed a fee of €30m plus bonuses for the Bosnian striker.
The website claims Dzeko has never asked for the transfer, but ‘obviously’ is fascinated for the Premier League, so wouldn’t fight against the move either.
Now this afternoon, CalcioMercato.com is the one coming up with updates, and they actually had two different stories about the negotiations.
The website first had a short article saying the transfer was ‘practically’ concluded and Dzeko should be announced in the next hours, with the last line saying the article was ‘to be updated’.
Then the same URL came up with a different speech, saying the deal is very close, and the next 48 hours should be decisive for that.
Roma would be happy to accept a €60m for both Dzeko and Palmieri, as the Bosnian striker became excited with the move after getting a phone call from Antonio Conte, who offered him a contract of €7m per season.
Chelsea and Roma are said to be in constant contact, and the Italian side seem to be very excited about the double deal.
