Despite all the big Brazilian expectation for Arsenal’s meetings with Malcom’s representatives on Monday, it seems that things are still not agreed.

Reports from Brazil had been saying that after the talks from the end of the last week, yesterday’s negotiations could end up sealing the player’s €50m move to London.

But according to Bruno Andrade, Goal’s journalist who has been following the case, it was still not possible to find an agreement last night.

He’s reported that the meeting happened in Barcelona this time, and despite the confidence from Malcom’s entourage, there’s still no decision. But it apparently didn’t end optimism from those close to the player, who still think the transfer will happen.

Despite some denials from Bordeaux in the past week, the speech in France has been changing a bit. The local press has been claiming that Malcom is ‘seduced’ by Arsenal, and manager Jocelyn Gourvennec pointed out that if the player leaves, he will be replaced.

Now with Aubameyang and Mkhitaryan looking being strongly linked, will Arsenal still spend €50m on the Brazilian? Signing all three would certainly make things easier for the club’s fans to forget Alexis Sanchez has ever existed.
