Crystal Palace and West Bromwich Albion have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Everton’s Oumar Niasse, after claims in the Turkish media he would prefer a move to Galatasaray.

Fotomac have reported Crystal Palace and West Brom are both interested in Niasse, and could look to move in on the player in this transfer window.

West Brom’s Alan Pardew and Crystal Palace’s Roy Hodgson are looking to strengthen their attacking options given their woes in front of goal this season, but it seems they’ll miss out on Niasse.

According to Fotomac, the Senegal international would like a return to Turkey if he does leave Everton in this window. The player had a successful spell in Turkey a few seasons ago, and in recent windows he’s been linked with a move back to the country.

Galatasaray are reported to be waiting on an answer whether their offer of a loan deal, with a right of redemption, will be accepted.
