A couple of weeks ago, we wrote an article an article about the situation of Ouasim Bouy at Cultural Leonesa in Spain’s second-tier, and it wasn’t good.
The Leeds defensive midfielder, who can also play as a centre-back, was sent on loan there to get some game time following his free transfer from Juventus in the summer, but that hasn’t happened.
Totalling a miserable 54 minutes of football in the league and 94 in the Copa Del Rey, the 24-year-old isn’t exactly having a good time, and we suggested there was a strong chance the loan would be terminated in January.
Currently 19th in La Liga2, there is certainly a need to turn things around, and if that means getting rid of deadweight, then that’s what they’ll do.
Unfortunately, that means giving Leeds United more work to do in January, although with long second half of the season ahead, perhaps a stay at Elland Road might give him more opportunities than he got at Cultural.
