Leicester City have reportedly finally paid the first installment for Adrien Silva’s transfer to the club.
The Portuguese press had already foreseen the payment by the end of October, when they said the money was about to be transferred.
Now newspaper Record confirmed the information this weekend, saying the Foxes paid an amount of €10m from a total of €29.5m.
Although they have no precise information about when the rest will be paid, they claim it will be made ‘very soon’.
For communicating the purchase 14 seconds after the deadline, the club was unable to count Adrien as a summer signing, and now wait until the January window to register him properly.
Meanwhile, the 28-year-old has been training normally with the first team squad and was even praised by the new Leicester manager Claude Puel.
