After officially breaking his contract with Juventus, Dani Alves is now set to sort out his future, which probably lies in England.
It’s claimed that due to Alves’ strong relationship with Guardiola, Manchester City are currently leading the race.
But Chelsea have still not lost all hope of signing him, and will wait for the decision. The player also had approaches from Brazil, China and Spain.
The 34-year-old struggled with an injury between December and January, but was able to show he’s still in good form by making 33 appearances for Juventus last season.
As Manchester City have released Bacary Sagna and Pablo Zabaleta, there’s no doubt he would arrive to the club as a starter. The position is not so vacant at Chelsea, however.
