On Thursday, things got a bit out of hand regarding Mohamed Salah to Liverpool.
His lawyer’s Instagram tease of a trip to London got many fans (and websites) excited about a possible move to Merseyside, with claims the club had agreed personal terms, and even some claiming a medical was underway.
Il Messaggero have an article on the whole situation, claiming the €35m bid has indeed been rejected, but that there was still room for an agreement to be reached, as Sport Witness also revealed.
The Italian newspaper claim Monchi has placed a €50m price tag on the 24-year-old, but that a deal could be reached somewhere between €40-45m, making it the ideal transfer to be completed before June 30th.
That shouldn’t represent too much of a struggle for Liverpool if they really want Mohamed Salah, but they certainly aren’t the only Premier League club after him.
We’re only at the beginning of June, after all.
Plenty of time left in this transfer window left.
