Sabah say Fenerbahce are planning a loan offer for Arsenal forward Perez and they are hopeful an agreement can be reached with the Premier League side. However, the only problem is Perez may favour a move to his old club Deportivo La Coruna, who he left to join to Arsenal for €20m last summer.
Negotiations are expected to continue with Perez’s agent and if the player rejects a move to Fenerbahçe then the Turkish club are ready to move on other targets such as Aston Villa’s Kodjia.
Aston Villa failed in their bid to return to the Premier League, which has encouraged Fenerbahçe to target Kodjia. The Turkish club, for reasons which haven’t been well detailed, seem to think Villa will want the player off their wage bill.
