After a lot of waiting, Joe Hart got his transfer away from Manchester City, even if it was just a loan to Torino in Serie A.

The England number one didn’t fall in Pep Guardiola’s plans and was replaced by Claudio Bravo in a move that still baffles more than one considering the Chilean’s form this season, and a return to the Etihad full-time seems unlikely.

With all this uncertainty down Manchester City’s end, you would hope Torino, who have enjoyed having the Englishman between their sticks, would have a solution to the problem, but they don’t.

Speaking to Gazzetta dello Sport, the club’s chairman, Urbano Cairo, explained the situation surrounding the 30-year-old.

He said: “He’s a very good goalkeeper: he made a few mistakes, but that’s it. No one blames him. But Manchester City aren’t sure what they want to do with him, we cannot afford to wait.”

It appears that, as things stand, Joe Hart is going to have to find himself another club in the upcoming transfer window, as neither Manchester City nor Torino Screen Shot 2017-05-05 at 12.56.47are in a position to offer him a full-time job for next season.

Rumours of a move to another Premier League club, including Manchester United, have started to emerge, but there’s been nothing concrete just yet.

Expect this one to pick up some speed in the coming weeks, especially once the season ends.
