The Portuguese court is next week set to announce a verdict regarding a trial involving Hull City boss Marco Silva.
This process dates back to 2014, when the former Sporting director José Eduardo accused the manager of doing things for his own interest and working to get the club president fired.
Marco Silva obviously didn’t like the statements, and sued José Eduardo. After representations from both men involved and their lawyers, Silva’s representation asked Eduardo to pay €45k, working out at €15k for each offence.
Now as reported by A Bola, the court scheduled the decision to be announced on March 8th. As Hull City have a free week ahead, the appointment shouldn’t disturb the club’s plans.
After starting his managerial career at Estoril, Marco Silva was hired by Sporting in 2014. He spent only one season at the club, where he won a local cup and finished third in the league. He was sacked in the summer of 2015 by Bruno de Carvalho.
