Even though we’ve spent the whole day seeing Cristiano Ronaldo being heavily linked with a Manchester City move, there’s now a suggestion the Portuguese star could still land somewhere else in case he gets to leave Juventus.
There were first a couple of claims saying the player’s agent Jorge Mendes has landed in Paris, suggesting that there’s a chance he could join Lionel Messi at Paris Saint Germain.
This information about the Paris trip is backed up by journalist Santi Aouna, from Foot Mercato, who adds that Manchester United could be in the competition for the 36-year-old as well.
According to this report, Cristiano Ronaldo ‘has been offered’ to the Red Devils, where he played between 2003 and 2009.
There are no details on Manchester United’s response to the situation yet, as Aouna doesn’t explain when the contact was made.
Aouna adds that a contract agreement is ‘almost found’ with Manchester City. Although that may sound like exciting news for Pep Guardiola’s side, we must point out that several outlets have been claiming there’s already a personal deal. So the French journalist seems to be taking the case a little easier than others.
