Clubs lining up for Tottenham transfer deal, purchase or loan with option, around €25m

 

We knew it wouldn’t take long until Moussa Sissoko started being linked with a Tottenham Hotspur exit.

With only 327 Premier League minutes played this season, the player hasn’t been able to show why Tottenham paid Newcastle United £30m for him. And, perhaps more worryingly, manager Mauricio Pochettino has made it clear he’s unhappy with the Frenchman’s start at Spurs.

Now, according to Calcio Mercato, all the very same clubs who wanted Sissoko during the transfer window are still keeping an eye on him. This list would include PSG, Everton, Sevilla, Juventus and Inter Milan.

But Tottenham wouldn’t let the player go so easily, given how much they paid for him just months ago. So the website speculates a few possibilities of a deal.

A regular loan is also ruled out, since Sissoko is already 27 and won’t develop much. So the interested clubs have two choices: make a bid to convince Tottenham to sell, or sign the player on a loan with a buying clause.

Calcio Mercato claims that Tottenham would want at least €25m for the player. But they still can’t say if any of those clubs have already initiated contacts for the transfer.
