There are big changes coming to Barcelona in the coming months, with Ronald Koeman seemingly intent on getting the club back to its roots and helping it regain its identity.

How he goes about that quickly will be interesting, but there will certainly be some exits, with Junior Firpo expected to be one of them ‘to make money’.

Mundo Deportivo are reporting this on Monday, and to replace the outgoing left-back, Watford’s Pervis Estupiñan is one of the players being looked at.

Their idea is to get a ‘quality player at a low price’, which the Ecuadorian is after impressing at Osasuna, and while the Hornets weren’t planning on selling him, their relegation has ‘reopened that possibility’.

It’s said that ‘sources close to Watford’ have told Mundo Deportivo they would be ‘open’ to talk, but the price ‘will rise to €15m’.

With Barcelona looking to avoid big transfers going forward as they have done in the past, Estupiñan represents a good option for them, and while Osasuna are set to have him on loan for another year, the Hornets ‘have the option to get him back’, either for him to stay and play for them or to be sold.
