Tottenham Hotspur attacker Heung-Min Son has been selected in Gazzetta dello Sport’s European Team of the Week for last weekend’s round of matches.
Son has been included in this week’s team after his heroics against Middlesbrough during Tottenham’s 2-1 victory. The South Korea international scored both of his side’s goals, which took him to 4 for the season in the Premier League.Son has been in impressive from in recent games, and is keeping out the likes of Eric Lamlea from Tottenham’s starting eleven.
Other notable players in this week’s team were Manchester United’s Juan Mata, Arsenal’s Héctor Bellerín and Bayer Leverkusen’s Javier Hernandez.
Son joined Tottenham from Bayer Leverkusen last summer, but struggled to hold down a regular place in the team during his first season in England.
It’s the second time in three weeks that Son has been included by Gazzetta.
