Víctor Camarasa joined Cardiff City in early August, on loan from Real Betis.
He’d struggled to hold down a place at the Seville club since his move from Levante, and his value had been dropping.
It was hoped the 24 year old could get regular games in the Premier League and therefore increase the value of Betis’ asset ahead of a potential future transfer.
Getting regular games and usually doing well under Neil Warnock has done the trick, report Diario de Sevilia in their Wednesday edition.
It’s thought Camarasa has now been ‘revalued’ and will be worth more to Betis going forward.
So pleased are Betis with how the loan is working out, it’s encouraged them to look at similar solutions for other players.
