Featuring for just 100 minutes so far this season at Barcelona, Denis Suarez should probably find himself a move away from the Catalan club in January if he doesn’t want his career to stagnate too much.

Luckily for him, it seems a number of clubs are interested in his services, including Arsenal in the Premier League.

Back towards the end of November, we covered a story in Mundo Deportivo stating the Spaniard was on Unai Emery’s ‘agenda’, with the Gunners having ‘moved’ for a potential January signing.

This followed claims the player would rather fancy a move to Arsenal, which may be where it’s all coming from.

Arsenal’s apparent desire has been echoed by a Spanish journalist a few weeks later as Diario di Girona’s Hugo Scoccia claims Arsenal, Marseille, Napoli, Roma and Milan are all interested in the 24-year-old.

He also states it is believed the midfielder is spending his ‘last Christmas’ at Barcelona, suggesting a January move is more than likely.

Currently contracted to the La Liga champions until 2020, Suarez could easily be available at €50m, since that’s the release clause in his contract, but his lack of minutes means that amount is unlikely to be put on the table anytime soon.

Barcelona would probably let him go for considerably less, as they know anything above the £2.9m they paid Villarreal to bring him back will be a profit.
