Besiktas have reportedly opened talks to sign the Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri.
According to L’Equipe, the negotiations started in the past few hours. The Turkish club want the 29-year-old on a loan with an option to buy.
The French newspaper claims that Nasri has given the go-ahead for the move and the clubs will now try to find an agreement.
Nasri was strongly linked to Inter Milanthis window. But as the former Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini was sacked from the Italian side, it seems that the interest has gone cold.
The midfielder struggled with injuries last season, making only 13 appearances for City. And now, besides being left of the club’s Champions League squad, the midfielder still hasn’t played under Pep Guardiola, which makes his departure seem imminent.
The French claims match perfectly with claims from Turkey we covered on Friday, there’s growing agreement on this one.
