Koni De Winter is a 16-year-old Belgian defender who is currently playing for Zulte Waregem. He joined them from Lierse SK Youth in the summer of 2016.
Despite being so young, De Winter has managed to attract interest from top clubs across the continent. According to Belgian publication Het Laatste Nieuws, Manchester City, AS Monaco and Borussia Dortmund are all interested in the player.
De Winter plays as a left-back and is thought to be one of the brightest prospects coming through in Belgium. He has been tracked by Monaco outfit for a while, with the Ligue 1 club increasingly looking to recruit young players.
Any approach from the Premier League winners to sign De Winter will not be easy. Manchester City will face tough competition from Monaco as that route is believed to be the most concrete.
