Chelsea youngster Bertrand Traore has revealed a reason for returning to Holland was to again link with Peter Bosz. The Chelsea forward last week joined Ajax on loan for the season, and this weekend the 20-year-old made his debut for the Dutch side.
Traore said the chance to work with somebody like Bosz helped him make the decision to come to Amsterdam, although he believes he would have seen signed for Ajax even if his former coach wasn’t at the club.
“The presence of Peter Bosz has influenced my arrival in Amsterdam, but that does not mean that if he had not been here, I would not have come,” said the Chelsea loanee.
Traore spent two seasons at Vitesse, and under the guidance of Bosz the player was able to develop. After his successful spell with Vitesse he returned to Chelsea last summer, and made a handful of appearances for the senior team last season.
However, Traore has been sent out on loan to Ajax again to get more first team action.
