Fenerbahçe’s Michy Batshuayi has ended up on Wolverhampton Wanderers’ agenda for the summer window, according to a report from Turkey.

The forward clocked in 1,860 minutes from 43 games in the recently concluded season, scoring 24 goals and registering three assists in the process.

Takvim state his performances have caught Wolves’ attention, and they are looking to sign Batshuayi in the next window.

The Belgium international spent six years at Chelsea before leaving them permanently for the Yellow Canaries in 2022. His current deal lasts until the end of this month, and the report says José Mourinho’s side are looking to extend the attacker’s contract.

Meanwhile, Wolves are trying to sign him, and it’s claimed they will have a meeting with the player’s agent in a ‘short time’.

According to Takvim, it’s unclear whether Batshuayi will continue in Istanbul or return to the Premier League, where Gary O’Neil’s side are keen on signing him.

Fenerbahçe have an option to extend his deal for another year, and Takvim haven’t made it clear whether they want to activate this or offer him a new contract.
