Burnley are set to complete the signing of Feyenoord left-back Quilindschy Hartman with a deal now agreed between the two sides.
That’s according to 1908.nl, who report that Burnley have agreed a deal with Feyenoord for the 23-year-old.
They explain that Hartman already has an agreement in place with the newly promoted Premier League side. A deal worth ‘several million’ has been agreed between the two sides. Hartman is now set for a medical at Turf Moor.
Burnley’s interest in the player dates back to the summer of 2023. A deal could not be agreed at the time. They’ve now returned, though, taking advantage of the fact that Hartman’s current Feyenoord deal expires in 2026.
Their bid of several million has ‘accelerated’ the transfer negotiations between the two clubs. Sites such as Transfermarkt value Hartman at €14m but insiders estimate that the deal will not have reached that amount.
Hartman has already visited Burnley last week and agreed personal terms, so it is only a medical that stands in the way of the Clarets getting their man.
They’ll want to carefully assess the 23-year-old before signing off on him given he only returned from knee surgery in January. That had seen him spend 307 days out of action and miss 39 games for Feyenoord in total.
