Wolves make approach for Middlesbrough player – Leak seems to be from agents

Emmanuel Latte Lath is an increasingly wanted man on the transfer market.

The 25-year-old has a contract with Middlesbrough which runs until 2027, and the Championship club also have the option to extent that by a further year.

Coming through the ranks at Atalanta, the forward had no less than eight loan moves away from the Serie A side before moving to Middlesbrough last year.

Wolves are now one of the clubs in the picture to sign him.

TMW report that Wolves and Red Bull Salzburg have made approaches for the player, likely trying to find out what’s needed to sign him.

AS Monaco are presented as being very interested, but only in the case they sell Swiss international Breel Embolo.

In a similar situation is Eintracht Frankfurt, who it’s explained also want the Middlesbrough player, yet in their case it’s only if they fail to sign Denis Undav from Brighton.

This information sounds very much like it’s come direct from Latte Lath’s agents. TMW is an Italian website, and the player is represented by an Italian agency.

It’s unlikely they’ve plucked it from thin air, so the interest from Wolves and others looks genuine.
