Wolverhampton Wanderers want to sign Bertrand Traoré outside the transfer window.
That’s according to 226 Foot, who make it clear it’s their own information about Wolves’ interest in the forward.

The transfer window in England closed earlier this week. However, Wolves can sign the 30-year-old as he’s been without a club since leaving Sunderland at the end of the season and has an option to return to England immediately.
Bertrand Traoré is an ‘attractive option’ for the Championship side, who have kept a close watch on him in recent weeks.
César Peixoto’s side have already taken action by making an approach recently. There’s no agreement in place with the winger yet and discussions could continue in the next few days.
The Burkina Faso international’s future remains uncertain, and it’s unclear whether he is open to joining the Championship side.
Wolves face competition
He’s not short of options as other unnamed clubs are also showing interest in the player.

The attacker previously had spells at Chelsea and Aston Villa before joining Sunderland for around €3m last summer. He played 77 matches in the Premier League, scoring 12 goals and contributing eight assists.
Last season, Traoré managed one goal from 639 minutes from 12 league matches for the Black Cats. A knee injury this year restricted his game time at the Stadium of Light and kept him away from the pitch for 114 days.
Despite leaving Sunderland, he played a part in convincing Simon Adingra to join his old club, Ajax, on loan earlier this week.
The Burkinabé winger has regularly struggled with a knee problem since 2022. Wolves and his other suitors have to take this into account even though he’s now a free agent.
If there’s no quick deal or decision from the player, the Molineux club may walk away from this operation.
