Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos has continued to insist Arsenal remain his priority this summer, even if there could be plenty of options back in Italy.
Milan Live cover comments from the agent, with him discussing his client’s future as he enters the summer and the end of his current deal at the Emirates.
The Italian midfielder has been with the Gunners since moving from Chelsea in the January transfer window last year.
He’s proven to be a key addition to Mikel Arteta’s squad, adding vital experience to a young squad as they continue to compete in the Premier League title race.
His current deal is set to expire in the summer although it does include an option for Arsenal to extend it by another year, something which they are yet to do.
Numerous reports have indicated that they will activate that clause at some point, though, with Arteta believed to be a big admirer of the midfielder and keen to keep hold of him moving forwards.
“In Serie A I would see him better at Lazio due to the presence of Sarri who knows his characteristics very well,” he said.
“Of course, also at Juventus where there is a great sporting director like Giuntoli with whom he lived good years at Napoli.
“I don’t even rule out a return to the blue team with the new coach Calzona who previously worked with Maurizio Sarri. But, by force and tradition, I don’t rule out Milan and Inter where anyone would like to play.
“We will evaluate every proposal that comes to the table. But the priority is the renewal with Arsenal because he gets along very well with everyone, but with his contract expiring we hope the team that wants what is best for him arrives.
“On the return to Italy the market is a bit firm and slow compared to the past. I don’t know if it’s a question of money and strategy but so far no big Serie A players have shown interest.”
