This week, journalist Pedro Rocha reported on West Ham United’s interest in Cruzeiro striker Kaio Jorge.
Later, Samuel Venâncio claimed the Hammers would need to pay around €30m to land the 23-year-old.

They note that multiple clubs in England, Germany, Portugal and Spain have made contact with Kaio Jorge’s entourage to seek information about the Brazilian, possibly indicating that even West Ham have done the same, following on from similar claims in Brazil.
The outlet believe that Cruzeiro want least €40m to let the striker depart in January, with Juventus also due to a certain percentage of the transfer fee received. This amount is higher than what has been reported in Brazil.
Kaio Jorge couldn’t make a mark in Turin despite spending three years in Italy, but has an impressive record of 27 goals in 56 appearances for Cruzeiro, where he arrived in summer 2024.
Those numbers suggest that he could be a useful signing for West Ham. With Niclas Fullkrug now 32 and yet to make an impact at the London club, Graham Potter could do with a younger option upfront.
