On Monday, Gazzetta dello Sport reported Olivier Giroud remains doubtful for AC Milan’s Champions League clash against Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday following a ‘flu attack’.
The Serie A winners sealed a 1-0 win over Spurs in the first leg and Brahim Díaz scored the winner at the San Siro.
Díaz suffered an injury prior to the weekend league clash against Fiorentina, along with the striker, there were concerns over the Spaniard’s involvement to face Tottenham this midweek.
According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the two players have recovered on time from a flu attack and a knee injury respectively and have been spotted training with the team on Tuesday.
This is good news for Stefano Pioli’s side as the Frenchman and the attacking midfielder will be part of the squad travelling to north London.
TMW further claim the former Arsenal man ‘will probably start’ while Díaz will be on the bench against Antonio Conte’s side tomorrow.
Giroud and Díaz being made available for selection is a huge boost for Milan ahead of their crucial tie against Tottenham.
