On January 22nd, Star Gazetesi reported Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou is ‘very keen’ on Sebastian Szymański and the north London club will try everything to sign the Fenerbahçe star.
Last month, Fanatik explained that Spurs are closely monitoring the 24-year-old and could make a move for him in the summer.
The Tottenham target has scored 12 goals and registered 14 assists from 46 games this season and Akšam state AC Milan and Napoli are also looking at him.
Recent claims have stated that the Rossoneri are keen on signing the attacking midfielder and are ready to make a €18m bid for him, which is €10m short of the Yellow Canaries’ request. After relaying this, the outlet provides their own take on this case.
Milan could try and raise their offer to meet the Istanbul club’s demand. Tottenham and Napoli are also keeping a close eye on the Poland international. It’s said both Spurs and Napoli are ‘preparing’ to knock on Fenerbahçe’s door, if Milan fail to sign him.
Akšam state Szymański is ‘about to leave’ Fenerbahçe, a year after they took him from Dynamo Moscow. If the exit materialises, he would be one of the most expensive sales in the club’s history.
